Deterring or removing wild boar from your land

Habitat management can be directed at making your land unfavourable to the wild boar preventing their establishment, or encouraging animals already present to move away.

This is a particularly useful exercise immediately prior to a population management programme, or following such a programme to prevent recolonisation of previously managed areas. Relocating wild boar from areas where they are not wanted, to areas where they are wanted

With the correct set-up, wild boar will readily enter live-capture traps. We have several years experience of capturing and removing wild boar, in both single and multi-capture traps.

Do not attempt to trap wild boar if you do not have the experience! A trapped wild boar is a very dangerous wild boar.

"Although I am scared of them I do find them fascinating and I really do not want to shoot them. It looks like its going to cost me a small fortune in pig wire fencing."
